As a mom and wife I am always on the look for healthy options for feeding my family. With all the talk about hormones, additives, preservatives etc put in to our meat it is enough to make a person go vegan.

Well maybe not that far! lol We do love our meat. In fact we are pretty much a meat and potatoes family.

That is why I was really excited when I found out about NatureRaised Farms! They are the real deal.

  • 100% All Natural* Ingredients
  • No Antibiotics, EVER!
  • 100% Vegetarian Diet—no animal protein or bakery by-products (which could include eggs)
  • No Added Hormones or Steroids **
  • Certified by Third-party Animal Welfare Agencies

But good for you doesn’t always mean it taste good, so I had to give it a try.

Actually, NatureRaised Farms Chicken tasted just the same if not better than the other brands we had been using. It made me feel good knowing I could feed my family something that was not going to possibly harm them or be unhealthy in the long run.

If you are not aspiring to be a chef and need a little guidance on how to cook your chicken, you can visit the NatureRaised Farms website to see quite a few tasty recipes. They also show you the nutrition information for each recipe as well. That is always great to know! We made the Chicken Milanese and “it was so yummy” (quoting my children).

  1. Crispy Baked Chicken Drumsticks would be a hit with the kids. I, on the other hand, would love to try the Black Tea Smoked Chicken Breast.

  2. The Flame Grilled Chicken Quesadilla would be good for the kids. I can't always get them to eat a taco, but they love quesadillas.

  3. I would like to try the Tangy Citrus Grilled Chicken Thighs. I'm not a huge fan of chicken thigh meat, so maybe I'd use breasts and thighs.

  4. The Lemon Basil Grilled Chicken Kebabs sound good. The kids might even like them since it would be on a stick 🙂
