Women with recalled packets are at greater risk of pregnancy and should use back-up contraception.

About 1 million packets of birth control pills are being recalled in the U.S. by Pfizer because a packaging mishap could increase the likelihood of pregnancy.

The affected pills include 14 lots of Lo/Ovral-28 tablets and 14 lots of generic Norgestrel and Ethinyl Estradiol tablets. All the pills were marketed by Akrimax Rx Products and have expiration dates ranging from July 31, 2013, to March 31, 2014. They were distributed to warehouses, clinics and pharmacies throughout the U.S.

Johnson & Johnson announced Friday it is voluntarily recalling a single lot of Aveeno Baby Calming Comfort Lotion after a test by the Food and Drug Administration found it contained more of a form of bacteria than specifications allow.

The product was distributed in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas, the company said. It urged consumers who would like a refund to call 877-298-2525.

 This amazing program helps me find recipes, plan my menu for the week and make a shopping list that I can send to my phone! The only thing this program doesn’t do is cook 🙂 You can also add your own recipes. This is just the program I have been looking and hoping for all these years!

As far as the technical aspects, the program: PC- Windows 7/Vista/XP/NT/2000/ME/Windows 98  MAC-OSX v10.6 or higher. It has a fairly straightforward interface. After you download and install you have the option to view the Step-by-Step Getting Started Guide file that explains everything as well as a link to the website that has a step by step video on how to use Cook’n Recipe Organizer.

I have to admit. I have never once tried Burt’s Bees products. They are always on the high end of cost and I am always looking for a good deal. I know, every one tells me “Some times it has to cost more to get a better product”. We (me an my 6 year old who has very sensitive skin) tried the Face Cleanser first, as per directed on the bottle. The tube is easy to squeeze. The Cleanser looks like toothpaste and feels like icing. It does not have a smell at all. It is very smooth! Not lathery at all like a soap, more like a lotion. It did take a bit of washing to get it all off. Who knows, maybe we used too much, it is our first time after all :-). After washing and drying our faces, we would tell a noticeable softness to our skin and it felt smooth.
