Before I start the review I will give a little info about myself. I am a twenty six year old mother of two. I have always had “sensitive” skin. From the time I hit about eleven years old I have always had tiny bumps on my arms, legs and recently on my back. I have always had to be careful with what I use on my skin. From the body wash to the makeup I use. I always seem to have a problem with it. I have always been given different advice. Always moisturize, no hot showers, try to exfoliate etc. It wasn’t until I was about 21 problems on my hands started. The picture of my hand here isn’t even half as bad as when it first started. It comes and goes now. Sometimes its harder to get under control. This time I had it under control until October and then it came back and the picture here is what it has looked like since.

I have tried a lot of products before. Used all the soaps that they say are for “sensitive” skin or dermatologist tested. None of them have really worked or they feel like they are going to and then they don’t. So i was a bit skeptical with this product but I have to say that I’m glad I tried it. On the website for CLn it says that it is a bleach bath in a bottle. Which is a common bath that people with eczema are told to do. It helps with secondary infections that many people get. I believe the product is aimed at children and teens. Its a lot easier to use then putting a child in a bath with bleach and probably feels a bit safer.

The ingredients on the bottle are Sodium Laureth Sulfate which is a detergent/ fomaing agent. Cocamidopropyl Betaine which is a organic compound that acts like a detergent or emulsifier. Cocamide Mea which is also another foaming agent. Disodium Edta which if you look it up is added to personal care products to improve their stability in the air. Sodium Hyppochlorite which is bleach. When I read the ingredients it sounded a bit off putting but all of these are added to most personal care products we already use every day.

The first day I used this soap I put it only on my arms, hands and face. I have to say that the first time I put this on my hand it made it feel better. There was almost a relief feeling. My hand hurts quite a bit when I have a flare up so it was nice. It also kept me from scratching it as much as I do which helps it heal. I use to wake up in my sleep and I had been scratching my hand, that didn’t happen when I used this. I noticed every day it started looking better. There’s always a slight redness due to scarring so that will always be there but my hand looks incredibly better. It took ten days for my hand to clear up.That is the fastest it has ever healed. It usually takes months for my hand to clear up so I was amazed by this. It also worked on the bumps on my arms. I still do have some but not as many and not as many new ones are popping up.

I will say that I could not use this on my face. I used it for about four days then stopped because I started breaking out severely and it was almost like a rash. I know that usually its two weeks to try a face soap but I couldn’t live with my face hurting like that.

Overall I’d say this was a good product. The body wash doesn’t have a bad smell. It just smelled clean to me. It’s clear and takes a minute to lather up. It is worth giving a try. I will continue to use it on my problem areas.
