Through the annual “Share the Love” in-restaurant fundraiser, McDonald’s Austin and the local community pull together to raise funds to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Austin and Central Texas

AUSTIN, TEXAS (March 29, 2012) – McDonald’s Austin Owner/Operators today announced their restaurants have collectively raised over $83,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Austin and Central Texas (RMHC) thanks to the efforts of the local community. From February 1 – 15, 2012, customers were encouraged to visit all 68 participating Austin and surrounding area restaurants to purchase a paper house for $1 to support the health and well-being of children and families staying at RMHC. All money raised stays locally benefiting RMHC Austin.
Participating McDonald’s restaurants throughout Austin and surrounding areas included Bastrop, Buda, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Hutto, Kyle, Leander, Lockhart, Round Rock, Pflugerville, and Taylor.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Austin and Central Texas (RMHC Austin) creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children.
